Table Talk

If you walk into Ms.Eichhorn's room during lunch, you will here six 17 year old girls talking about unicorns, puppies, and rainbows. If you happen to walk in on  a conversation, I am deeply sorry. Lunch is probably the best time of day because our group of girls, I mean all of the girls in her room, has so much fun. We talk about everything under the sun; literally. We are all so used to eachother and just love talking about random things, and we laugh about everything. Next year when some of us are in Panama, working or out to lunch it will be very sad, because the conversations just won't be the same.

Feelin' Like a Grandma

Saturday was the annual Dodgeball tournament at OHS, and my team took second place. Although I really didn't do anything but dodge balls being chucked at me and watch out for my team mates, and hand balls to the guys, my legs hurt so badly. I don't think my legs have ever been this sore in my life. When I walk up and down the stairs I want to cry. I was really surprised that they hurt this bad, because I run usually twice a week. Feeling like this gave me a taste of what I will be feeling like when I am older, and I am not looking forward to it. I have been stretching every chance I get, and I do not have my full flexibility abilities back yet. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow morning, but I'm guessing I will still feel it when I wake up. BTW, JD RULES.

Vacation from Technology

This past weekend my furnace went out and my house was freezing. Since a fire place has nothing to do with the furnace though, it still worked and it was roaring like crazy all of Sunday. That afternoon I was forced to stay in my family room to stay warm during the day until my plans started that afternoon. During this time I sat on the reclining part of the couch right next to the fire under my blanket with a cup of prickly pear tea and a book by my favorite author. Once I sat down, my phone was shut off and and the only noise you could hear was the crackling of the fire, and since it was sunday, of course, the Harry Potter Marathon on ABC Family. It was really nice to disconnect from the world for a few hours and just read and occsionally peak up at HP. Relying on your phone and checking it every5 minutes to see if you have any new texts is a terrible habbit that we are all guilty of. To not have to do that, or have the ability to do that for a couple of hours out of the day is a really nice thing, and I plan to do that more often.

Mondays

Nerdy Young Woman Student Sleeping in School Desk Royalty Free Stock PhotoI hate Mondays. They always seem to drag on, and not go anywhere. In the morning I want to take a pillow to school with me so I can sleep through all of my classes, considering I basically nod off in all of them. Sitting in Consumer Math amakes me want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon. The majority of that class is immature, and nobody pays attention because it's so easy. I'm getting an A in that class, and I'm terrible at math. I think that on Mondays they should start school 2 hours later, but get out on the same time. Mondays are the days that we as students and teachers have the most trouble funtioning on, therefor if we had a late start to ease us into the rest of the week we would be better off. Until that happens, which will be never, I will continue to nod off in class every single monday morning.

Good Ole' Al

Alex Lavine is my hero. He is just the light of my life, and I don't know what I would do without him. He always tells me how great I am, (sarcastically of course), and he is so encouraging (even if it's fake). We have the best of times in class with our buddies at the pod, and we have some great conversations. He always laughs at me when I talk and makes me feel dumb, because apparently I don't think before I speak, and I say some pretty silly things. Alex is also very smart. He is an editor in our class and works very hard to edit our writers' stories. Although he does not attend our weekly editors meeting, he is still a pretty decent editor. Along with all of this, he is also a football and basketball star. His jersey number is 11, as seen to your right, and he is a super star. I honestly do think Alex is a great kid, even if this all seems superficial and sarcastic..which most of it is :)

My Girl

"Best friends are the siblings God forgot to give us." This statement has been proven true to me time and time again by Jordan Marie Antczak. The first time I met Jordan I was like, "damn, she's pretty. I hate her." Just kidding. Kind of. Haha. Before I got to know her though, she was very quiet and didn't say much. It was freshman year and she was the new girl at school. Everyone referred to her as "Hot Jordan". During that year we had 2 classes together, but didn't really talk much. Sophomore year, however, we had Ms. Eichhorns class together, and sat side by side. As we started talking more and more we became closer and closer, and soon we were insperable. I can tell Jordan anything and everything. Any awkward conversation you could think of, we've had it. It's just the relationship we have. She is one of the only people I feel comfortable opening up to, and I'm so glad I have her in my life. We keep eachother in line, and we call eachother out when we've done wrong, even if it pisses us off. Without her, life would suck. I know we have our differences, and our downs, but through it all we stick together, and we always find a way to bounce back. From breakups to breakdowns, from tears of joy to sugar highs, we are always there for one another, and I'd never have it any other way. She brings me joy, and I love her dearly.

Getting Personal

Leading up the this point in time, I was born on February 11th, 1994 here, in my home town. I live with my family (Mom, Dad, older sister Emily, younger sister Grace, and my ankle biting cat, Gizmo). I love to travel! I have visited four different countries, including Scotland and England, and all of them have been great experiences. My favorite food is ice cream, hands down. No specific flavor, just ice cream in general. However, I really love mint chocolate chip and elephant tracks. One of my favorite things to do is nap. Sleep is amazing to me. I think I love it so much because I hardly get to sleep. Along with naps I love to snuggle. Snuggling is one of my favorite things in the whole world. Nothing gets much better than that. As far as activities go, I am highly involved in my school drama department, the OHS Players. I have participated in every show we have done here in some way shape or form since my freshman year. Actually, I have been involved in every single show...a total of 10 shows so far. Well, that's about all I can think of! My favorite color is green, my lucky number is 11, hmmm. Yeah, That's all!
